Recommendation System for Student Development
Teenage years are a period full of opportunities, possibilities, and challenges. Some choices made during these years may decide their future development, especially in the context of China’s education reform. To the end, we designed the recommendation system for young people to help them making the most suitable choice.
This project attempts to establish an individualized recommendation system for students based on the analysis of various data collected in learning. In the system, the data include subject achievement, ability characteristics, psychological characteristics, teacher observation and sensing data for drawing his/her precise profile. Then, this profile is matched with policy information and expert knowledge base according to special mathematical model. The individual character report and development recommendation are given to the students and parents. Moreover, there is a manual adjustment function in this system. If the student’s interests are different from system recommendation greatly, expert consultation and support will be provided.
