Ten Discipline Teaching Research Projects



Based on the requirements of the national and local curriculum standards, visualized graphs and maps of core structures and entire knowledge structures in each discipline are displayed vividly. Based on discipline characteristics, features, thinking qualities, and key abilities, discipline literacy is developed for each discipline. Taking discipline knowledge as the agency, the first tier elements—Learning and understanding, Application and practice, and Transfer and creation are established. The second tier elements are extended on the first tier, thus constitute 3 x 3 model of discipline competence.

Discipline competence consists of the systematic and structured discipline knowledge and skills, and the activity experience schema of core disciplines (stable discipline experience structure). The knowledge activities and problem-solving activities can be summarized into three parts, the first is the input of knowledge and experience - learning and comprehension activities; the second is the output of knowledge and experience - the application and practice activities; the third is the advanced output of knowledge and experience – the activities of transfer and innovation.
