Dr. Tore Hoel Visited AICFE for Learning Technology Standardization
Advanced Innovation Center for Future Education (AICFE) invited Dr. Tore Hoel to visit AICFE on September 29, 2016 for learning technology standardization. Professor Shengquan YU, Tom TANG, Ada MA, Jiachen SONG, doctoral student Qi WANG and Liujie XU attended the meeting. Doctoral student Wang showed the progress of work on ‘Learning Cell’. Dr. Hoel listened carefully and gave professional advices on rationale, scope, and draft. After the meeting, Dr. Hoel, doctoral student Wang and Xu discussed the standardization into details in a small group. Dr. Hoel would like to cooperate with AICFE more in the future.
Dr. Tore Hoel is affiliated with Learning Centre and Library at HiOA , and has been working within the learning technology standardization community for more than ten years. He has served as vice-chair of CEN Workshop on Learning Technologies since 2007 till the WS/LT was discontinued in 2013. He works now primarily with European and Nordic projects within the field of ICT and learning.
