On the night of August 21, 2020, focusing on an intelligent robot for education—Smart Learning Partner Robot, which was developed by Associate Professor Yu Lu’s research team, applications and explorations from Advanced Innovation Center for Future Education based on artificial intelligence, big data, and related technologies in future learning scenarios were reported by Education for the Future—the first panoramic documentary about education innovation from CCTV-9 Documentary.
This documentary reported that Prof. Lu led his team to conduct in-depth research and exploration in the design, development, adjustment and other dimensions of the intelligent robot for education "Smart Learning Partner". Prof. Lu believes that with the continuous iteration of artificial intelligence technology, the efficacy of self-adaptation of educational applications in future learning scenarios will be greatly improved, and mobility and convenience for students will also make a more profound breakthrough.

At the same time, with the collection of data in the whole learning process, students' data of physical health also attracted great attention. Beijing Yucai School at Tongzhou is one of the partners of the AICFE. The smart bracelet worn by students in this school during physical education classes can collect their body temperature and heartbeat in real time, and make analysis of their physical state.

Professor Shengquan Yu, the Executive Director of the AICFE, points out that the innovative smart public service platform developed by the AICFE based on big data, knowledge semantic reasoning and artificial intelligence technology, can enable high-quality education resources to be precisely connected with students' personalized learning needs, promote public service in basic education to transfer methods and overcome shortcomings, improve the quality of services and contribute to innovative teaching reform in Beijing, through the analysis of big data in education and the construction of learner modeling.

The Education for the Future documentary on CCTV-9 reflects the in-depth exploration of the AICFE in the direction of education informatization and intelligentization, and shows the development process and outstanding achievements of education in recent years in China with the help of information technology. It also opens a door of smart education for the public and shows a dynamic new ecology of education.
