Since its inception in the last century, the AIED conference has become a core academic exchange platform in the field of interdisciplinary research between education and artificial intelligence, and many cutting-edge academic achievements in this field have been presented at the conference. AIED is a Class A conference in the field of international computing, and it is also the only international high-level conference in the intersection of education and artificial intelligence recommended by the Chinese Society of Artificial Intelligence. AIED conferences have always adhered to strict academic standards, for example, the acceptance rate of long papers at the AIED conference in 2024 is only about 15%. Associate Professor Lu Yu of Beijing Normal University was invited to co-chair the program committee of the conference with Professor Erin Walker of the University of Pittsburgh and Professor Alexandra I. Cristea of Durham University in the United Kingdom, demonstrating the academic contributions and international influence of Chinese scholars in the field of educational artificial intelligence in recent years.
