With the development of the Internet, big data, artificial intelligence and other new generation of information technologies, the way of teaching and learning is undergoing revolutionary changes, and China’s education is stepping into a new era. Facing the future, there are infinite possibilities to transform education and solve educational problems based on big data. Based on the smart education public service platform – Smart Learning Partner, Advanced Innovation Center for Future Education of Beijing Normal University has formed a regional education quality analysis and improvement model based on big data. Using student data as a band, this model integrates schools, training institutions, educational administrative departments and families to form an innovative education model with multiple participants and close coordination.
The Smart Learning Partner builds a big data collection, processing, analysis and application model for typical education scenarios by using key technologies in the field of artificial intelligence, such as deep learning, natural language processing, knowledge mapping, knowledge reasoning, semantic search and intelligent recommendation. Through data collection during the entire learning process, model construction for knowledge and capability, diagnosis and treatment for learning problems, and identification and enhancement on disciplinary advantages, it provides data support for students’ personalized learning, teachers’ tailored teaching, teachers’ precise teaching and research, accurate positioning of family education and scientific decision-making of education administrators.
